+ What is The Resource Collective?
A large-scale system that sources, procures, stores, and distributes high quality, large quantity donated materials to support those in need in Arizona. The Resource Collective helps member nonprofit organizations access material donations for those they serve.
+ Who can join?
To be eligible, your organization must meet all of the following:
- Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, as evidenced by an IRS Determination Letter
- Provide services and programs that care for the ill, needy, infants (birth to age 18), or veterans
- Be able to accept pallet-level quantity material donations
- Certify that donated items will not be sold, bartered, traded, auctioned, raffled, or otherwise used for monetary gain
Schools are eligible and must provide their NCES number, viewable at nces.ed.gov/globallocator.
+ Who cannot join?
501(c)(3) non-operating private foundations, 501(c)(19) Post or Organizations of War Veterans, and 501(c)(10) Domestic Fraternal Societies may be eligible but must provide a letter on their letterhead stating that donations received will be used under IRS Code 170(e)(3) guidelines.

+ How do I join?
There is a short application process to confirm 501(c)(3) status, assess capacity, and cover what is permitted and not permitted for participants of the program.
+ When can I join?
Very soon! The Resource Collective will be adding Partner Organizations within the coming months. Join the waitlist to be placed with others interested in participating.
+ Does The Resource Collective distribute directly to individuals in need?
No. The Resource Collective is for nonprofit organizations whose mission is to serve those in need. The Resource Collective distributes only to organizations, not to individuals directly.
+ What kind of products does The Resource Collective supply?
The Resource Collective provides products deemed "essential" by its current participants. Upon orientation, members will be asked to provide a top 10 list of most wanted items. Currently, the most requested categories are:
- Clothing
- Hygiene & beauty
- Food storage
- School supplies
+ Can I sell the items?
No. Any monetary gain acquired through distribution of items provided by The Resource Collective is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate revocation of membership.
+ Does The Resource Collective deliver?
Delivery options are available for certain The Resource Collective Partner Organizations.
+ What does it cost?
The Resource Collective is a subscription-based program. Membership pricing will be available soon.
